For something quick to serve, Chef Buddy advises starting with Caramel Pili Nut Clusters, which may easily be created in 5 easy steps. Double Chocolate brownies, meanwhile, could make for tasty snacks during the family’s weekend get-togethers at home. Double Chocolate Brownies

Double Chocolate Brownies
  • 3 cups chocolate
  • 1/2 cips butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 pieces whole eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspon salt
  • 360 grams chocolate
  • 360 grams walnuts
  • Combine the chocolate, butter, water and sugar. Melt over low head using a double boiler
  • Whisk in the eggs. Aadd the flour and salt, then fold in the chopped chocolate and nuts.
  • Pour into a 9x12 Glad Ovenware lined with Glad Cook 'n' Bake paper and bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven.
  • Remove when small cracks appear on the edges. Cool in the chiller for 25 minutes.
  • Slice and sore in Glad Zipper bags or Gladware food protection containers.

Caramel Pili Nut Clusters

Caramel Pili Nuts Clusters
  • 1 kilo Roasted Pili Nuts (skinless)
  • 3 cans evaporated milk
  • 3.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 pieces egg yolks
  • Boil the Pili nuts to remove the skin then roast Pili on a sheet pan lined with Glad Cook ‘n’ Bake till light brown.
  • In a large sauté pan, dissolve the sugar in the milk on medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • Add Pili, slowly add egg yolks. Cook and stir till thick and caramel in color (about 1 hour).
  • Spoon little clusters on Glad Cook n’ Bake paper.
  • Slice and store in Glad Zipper bags or Gladware food protection containers.
