Baked Cheesy Mussels Lombardi


1 kilo of mussels, washed and cleaned

1 cup chopped onions

3 tablespoons of minced garlic

2 tablespoons of chopped parsley

1/4 cup of butter

4 slices of lemon

1/2 cup white wine

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

1/4 cup grated gruyere cheese

1/4 cup grated gruyere cheese

And freshly cracked pepper


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 325F.
  2. Cut 4 sheets of 10” long Glad Non-stick Aluminum Foil then place it over a pasta plate or bowl.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and place one portion in the middle of the dull side of the foil sheet and top it with cheeses.
  4. Gather the four corners of the foil and twist it to form a pouch, place it in a cookie sheet afterwards. Do this for the remaining 3 portions.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes and serve hot.
